The Isometric view shows you the details of the structure at selected eye point.
Use Zoom Window and Zoom All buttons to zoom in or zoom out.
Normally the application uses the smaller windows to show this view but you can swap the plan view and the isometric view using the Plan/Isometric button in the status bar.
You can use axis rotate buttons to change the eye point of the isometric view.
