Click on New Point Load.
Click on member on which you want Point Load.
Point Load panel becomes visible.
UDL:Origin Joint-Member Number- Terminal Joint.
Select Co-ordinate System of the load.
Select Direction of the load.
Following figures show loads in local y-axis co-ordinate direction and global y-axis co-ordinate direction.
Enter ‘w’, the intensity of the uniformly distributed load.
Enter ‘a’ distance from origin joint as shown below.
The application places a=L/2 which means that the load is at the mid length of the member. Enter your value.
Click ‘Ok’ to finalize this load.
